The scholarship fund at Be in Health is supported by donations. It is used toward retreat tuition fees for the For My Life course only (in-person or online). It is not given towards any other Be in Health retreats or towards accommodations. Use of scholarship is contingent upon also renting our Be in Health accommodations.
The scholarship fund is limited and once depleted we stop giving scholarships until it is replenished. Therefore, we want to give the funds to those individuals and families that could not otherwise afford to attend the retreats.
Scholarship may cover a percentage of your tuition fee, but typically not all of it.
If you believe you need a scholarship please contact Guest Services for further information regarding the scholarship process, 706-646-2074.

All of our teachings are based upon the 1611 Authorized King James version of the bible. We have found that this translation best reflects the meaning of the Old Testament Hebrew Masoretic text and the Greek Majority text of the New Testament into English. Also, by using the KJV we are able to refer back to the original languages through the use of the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible to gain clarification of meaning.
If you have special needs and you are unable to attend a retreat on your own, you may bring an assistant with you. In some cases, depending on the level of your need, we may require that you bring an assistant in order to have the best retreat you can. A BiH Retreat Director will help you determine your need for an assistant during the registration process. If an assistant is deemed necessary, a small fee is charged the assistant. Your assistant may sit through the retreat with you (without having to pay tuition). Your assistant may purchase a course guide from Guest Services if they wish to have one. Assistants must agree to and sign a written Assistant Agreement upon arrival.
If you have a ‘certified service animal’ it can be with you at your accommodations and during the retreat time. We do NOT charge the Pet Fee if you have a certified service animal. The animal needs to be leashed and not cause distraction to you or other attendees during retreat times.
ONLY NURSING INFANTS are allowed to remain with a parent during the adult retreat. Older young children are not allowed to remain with a parent due to the distraction of both the parents and other attendees. In these situations, you must find alternate childcare.

- BiH provides two snacks each day. *If your child has food allergies, please provide your child with 2 snacks a day.

During the summer Family retreats we offer For My Life Kids and For My Life Youth retreats. *NOTE- a parent or legal custodial guardian must be in attendance in the adult class at the same time kids are attending. Youth (ages 13-17 years old) do not have to have a parent attending the adult class at the same time as the youth are already on their own spiritual journey. Kids and youth are taught the same concepts as the adults but material is presented in a way that is easily understood for them. *We do not allow children under the age of 13 to attend the adult retreat.
The Kids For My Life and For My Life Walkout retreats are offered during the summer months. The Kid’s retreats are designed for children ages 6 to 12 years old.

Guest Services cannot answer this question. You may inform the Guest Services Team Member if you think that you have a mature 12 year old that would do better in the Youth retreat or that you have an immature 13 year old that would do better in the Kids retreat. Guest Services will connect you with one of the Retreat Directors to discuss this with you and make that determination.
Also, if you have a special needs child ask the Guest Services Team Member to connect you with a Retreat Director to help determine which retreat will work best for him/her.
At least ONE parent or legal, custodial guardian must attend the adult retreat at the same time the child attends the Kids (ages 6-12 years old) retreat. Youth (ages 13-17 years old) do not have to have a parent attending the adult class at the same time as the youth are already on their own spiritual journey.
If a grandparent is a legal custodial guardian of their grandchildren they can bring them to the Kids retreat. If the grandparent is not the legal custodial guardian they cannot bring them without the parent or custodial guardian also attending. The parent or custodial guardian is the spiritual covering.

If you desire to volunteer because you have a special needs child who needs an assistant, a BiH Retreat Director will help you determine your child’s level of need. If your need for an assistant is approved, a link will be sent to you for the registration. You cannot be a volunteer for the kids retreat and be your child’s assistant at the same time.
