Restoring the Integrity and Authority of the First-Century Church

Where do Be in Health teachings fit in a church?

Would you like to be a part of a church that commits to creating a safe place to walk out and live out what you’ve learned at the For My Life® Retreat? Would you like to serve with like-minded people who purpose to restore and implement the integrity and authority of the First-Century Church? Welcome to the vision of A.C.T.S. Global™: the Association of Churches, Teaching, and Serving founded by Pastors Henry and Donna Wright.

After serving tens of thousands of lives through the For My Life Retreat in Thomaston, Georgia, our Be in Health® team kept hearing a similar question being asked, “Where can we go from here to find a safe place in our area to grow and overcome?” As an answer to the cry from the people for safe places to overcome in their locale, we established ACTS. This Association works with like-minded churches and gatherings coming under the umbrella of ecclesiastical support.  Our mission is to raise individuals through Be in Health and Hope of the Generations Church, and release them into church leadership as pastors over a church or small gathering, as well as networking with existing like-minded churches.

Church vs. Ministry

Over the years, many have attended and then replicated the For My Life Retreat teachings as their stand-alone ministry. This has been problematic because the net result is that the Church Body does not receive the increase. We are not in opposition to ministries one bit. Dr. Wright would say that para-church ministries stand as an indictment that the Church was not getting the job done. ACTS resolves to bring the fullness of the power, integrity, and authority back to the Church. To do this, the Church must be overseen by the five-fold eldership that God established in His Word.

Over the years, we have observed that Be in Health’s teachings in the For My Life Retreat work, bringing unprecedented results. We want to see those results replicated within many churches. For 30+ years, the ministry of Be in Health was formed and tested within our local church body before being executed in our outreach of Be in Health. Today, we do not establish ‘Be in Health Ministry’ models; we seek to reform the Church for healing.

The Strength of the five-fold eldership

ACTS involves the five-fold eldership of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men… And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. Ephesians 4:8, 11 KJV

It is in the strength of this five-fold eldership working by the leading of the Holy Spirit that God uses these offices to reform, guard, protect, and advance the Church with power.

ACTS Churches are built on these Principles:

  1. Signs and Wonders followed the teachings of the apostles, to validate their message
  2. Exclusivity to the Word of God; not adding or taking away
  3. Eternal Perspective of our spiritual journey, past, present and future, as pilgrims in progress
  4. Continual and Incremental Growth based on many members participating in each gathering
  5. Godly Order of relationships, within the home, as well as the Church

These five principles of the First-Century Church are a guide for spiritual safety and growth for the Body of Christ to execute the Word.  ACTS churches don’t change the Word to meet our opinion or keep up with the times. Instead, the Association searches the Scriptures to change our personal lives, our marriages and families, our local fellowships, our cities, our state, our nation, and ultimately, our world.

Raising up you, the laborers

If you are undergoing a spiritual reformation, have some personal wins of overcoming, and a desire to see the Church reformed in God’s power, you may be asking, what’s next? Maybe you are being called to lead an ACTS fellowship. We want to get to know you and let you get to know us to see if we might be the next step of God’s plan in your life. To work the fields that are ready for harvest, we must first raise the laborers in the First-Century Church model. Jesus came to a sick and suffering-to-the-devil church. Will you serve under the Bishop of the Church through ACTS to take back what the devil has done and help repair the damage?

Call to Decision and Action

Are you called to start or join an ACTS church? You are the only one that can have that conversation with God (include your spouse if you are married). ACTS Global is committed to releasing individuals through teaching and wisdom, but we will not dictate what you do.  We work together with you to let the Scriptures dictate what works.

It may be that in your generation, God is drawing you to serve Him as an extension of Himself in the Body of Christ. Being a pastor or elder doesn’t make you greater than anyone. It makes you first among your equals and a servant to them. Reforming the Church is a lot of work, and you and your home are usually the first ones to be reformed. The leadership of ACTS Global is looking for ordinary believers wanting to do extraordinary things for the Father. It was the ignorant and unlearned that God used to show Himself through, not professional Christians.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 KJV

Are you a candidate for ACTS?

Are you being perfected in the overcomers’ journey?  Do you desire to help others?  Maybe you don’t feel like you could do it without God absolutely working with you.  You’re in a good situation; you could be a candidate for ACTS.

If you are stirred by what you are reading, something special could be awakening. It takes time to understand how God calls out someone for service. Throughout the Bible, it was not the obvious choice that was picked. He looks at the spirit of a man or woman. Don’t let the devil rip you off from serving God because of a spirit of fear. Be what God called you to be in the Body of Christ, and He will equip you to do it.

It’s not about division or subtraction

DON’T leave your current church if God has you there. But if the doctrine of a church fellowship is dangerous for your spirituality and even physical health, an ACTS church may be where God wants you to grow.

The Association is committed to the addition and multiplication growth in the Body, not subtraction and division. We are excited to associate with existing churches and learn what the First-Century Church model looks like together. Contact ACTS Global™ to learn more.
